Analysts are responsible for leading research groups that cover a specific industry. These are smaller groups of club members. In these meetings, the analysts will go into more details about finance and also discuss industry specific topics. Researcher groups are a great way for junior members to learn in a hands-on environment with more direct mentorship. Meetings are typically once a week with extra meetings to facilitate company analysis. Almost all stock pitches originate from researcher groups. It is common for even first and second year students to be part of a stock pitch presentation. Analysts within the groups will guide the analysis for the stocks and provide perspective from their work experience.
