Our History: Facts & Figures
Our fund was officially created with the generous donation of $25,000 from Mr. Cameron S. Marshman, in honour of his wife. Since then, we have managed it with a value investing philosophy. Mr. Marshman’s wish was to educate and foster the next generation of investors at Western University by giving them a chance to invest real capital. Today, that donation has grown more than 700%.

Recruiting Success
WIC has demonstrated a consistent ability to help prepare its members ahead of recruiting. In doing so, a majority of former WIC Analysts have started their careers at Goldman Sachs, Evercore Partners, Qatalyst Partners, Silver Lake Partners and more. The club prides itself on the active involvement of its alumni who continue to help current members break into the industry.
